This talk was given as part of the graduate seminar course “Suites and Character Pieces” in November 2018 in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death. Five students and Matthew Bengtson (the course professor) gave pre-concert introductions to two Preludes from Book I and performed them.
