A primer on different types of physical and cognitive special needs students may have, and creative solutions using the technology available through the university to provide a seamless learning environment for all. High-level overview of digital solutions for individuals with special needs through Canvas course design elements, accessibility software such as screen readers and more, and how to identify unit and university-wide resources to overcome accessibility challenges that can be presented by technology in a hybrid or remote setting. Through this, we can empower faculty and staff to utilize creative solutions using technology to better aid in the learning experience for the university community promoting equality and inclusion.
