NSF Public Access and Impact Reporting Project

NSF Public Access and Impact Reporting Project

"Exploring National Infrastructure for Public Access and Impact Reporting" is an NSF-supported project (Award 2315721) to convene experts on usage reporting and impact measurement of various types of research outputs, e.g., books, journals, datasets. In bringing together key stakeholders in public-access related usage and impact reporting who currently work in separate silos to focus on the efficacy and future of FAIR research impact reporting, this project can identify ways to build economies of scale for institutional reporting while also identifying ethical concerns related to the aggregation and use of scholar-specific impact data in an automated fashion at the global scale. The videos below present brief presentations of some of the most important projects in this space, along with questions to consider while watching them. This series of videos can be linked at https://bit.ly/nsf-pa. For questions about the project, please contact Christina Drummond, christina.drummond@oabookusage.org
